I am leaving on Saturday. I will be staying with my relatives over there. Since husband is not coming along so i will be kind of on their disposal for taking me to the city and stuff. But its always good to know a bit yourself. Empire state building, brooklyn bridge, time square, statue of liberty, central park is what i have com across via internet. Locals of the big apple, any must visit suggestions? I will have just 3 days to squeeze in everything.

If you're pressed for time, a harbor tour is a good way to see the Statue of Liberty without actually doing the whole Ellis Island thing, at it will get you up close to all the major bridges (and I just remembered that Ellis Island & The Statue of Liberty are closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy)
Battery Park (I love strolling around there!)
South Street Seaport
Jackson Heights (if you want to do the desi thing)
The list is endless! I've found that now many how many times I go to NYC, and no matter what the duration, there is always something I missed seeing or doing!!

There is so much to do and see in New York that 3 days will not be enough. I would suggest you to visit the most popular spots. The links below recommends some of the most popular spots in New York. Hope it helps!
