May hardwork be the player on the fields of success… So Long…
Re: Must Read... About Irfan Pathan,His family and his struggle, May Allah bless all.
How they can label this khassi as "genius" is beyond me. Talk about misusing and abusing a term used for legendary cricketers like Akram, Lara, Murali etc. Really.
Re: Must Read... About Irfan Pathan,His family and his struggle, May Allah bless all.
*Blah blah blah. What is there to appreciate? His family wasn't the only one suffering during the riots. I was strictly talking about his cricketing abilities and how he is a khassi bowler who relies on the early movement in the pitch and then sh*ts his pants when the ball stops moving around; thus, the word "genius" does not apply to him. I don't care what he went through. Mohammad Yousuf's family was probably even poorer than Pathan's family, so we have enough stories of our own. *

I surely do respect them. I’m just baffled by the use of the word “genius” for him though, that’s all. I always thought Akram and Lara were “geniuses”, not jumaa jumaa aath din ke bachay :o .

Yes, he is. I will be the first one to admit that he wasted his prime being a prima donna and focusing on things other than cricket. But he has found his direction, and I think he still has a lot to offer to Pakistani cricket. In any situation, he is more of a “genius” than Pathan ever will be as a bowler. Really.
