this is what i think-keep the shirt on the longer side, but a bit above the knee, with 3/4 sleeves--this length is still useable as a "shalwar-kamiz" later (below the knee would be more flattering with full sleeves).
this leaves room for bangles, and the length is still regal.
keeping it one colour is ur choice entirely (monotones add height to the body) but having a red gharara would add more to the outfit. the dupatta shouldnt have the panels, just pipings, if it needs that extra colour to coordinate with the gharara.
