The bold part is the punch line. The generation who had links and sympathies for people in other countries is almost gone. So why should new generation having no links with other country should be labelled ‘fifth columnist’ on the basis of religion. This question applies to both sides of border.

The other question ‘do Muslims in India feel that their forefathers took wrong decision by not moving to Pakistan’. Obviously, no one will accept this in public, but still question is valid considering the constant advice ‘Move to Pakistan’.

I guess history books could be one of the reasons. You may have read different version of history than what I read.
