This can entirely depend on the circle of friends you hang out with Lajawab and we both know that. Its still not very hard to be close to the masjid, visit regularly and be friends with all those who avoid such deeds and guide you to the right path.
However by and large yes, a lot of such things are prevailent.

Notice the underlined words...After all this, is it any wonder that from the ranks of the unbelievers, throughout Europe and America, thousands upon thousands MashaAllah of people are reverting while those of us, born and raised in Muslim households are drifting away?
They become Muslims, and wow do they become Muslims...

You know, I always wondered about that. I always wondered who would we be replaced with nowadays, but the way you put it does make sense. Those born and bread as muslims are drifting away from it while the scores of converts are reviving islam and practicing it in the spirit and fashion it was meant to be practiced.
