Irshad Ahmed Haqqani on the re-election of Bush in his column fearing that it might reduce the chances of future peace has as usual shown his sadness on the Muslim world. He says Muslim world has no voice and is helpless. Islamic countries organization is an organization without any real voice. The writer is very right. How can the Muslim world have dare raise a collective voice? See the details of wealth owned by Palestinian leader Yasar Arfat published 2-3 days before his death. In seventies the cheque of huge amount given to him by the Kuwait ruler according to this report he deposited in his personal account. He had abroad huge shares in hotels, businesses, bank accounts in different countries. His wife and child for the last 3 years were staying in a 5 star hotel in Paris. He was a leader of poor nation where sometime people do not have to eat as they can not cross the border to earn their daily earnings in Tel Aviv. This is the story of almost all Muslim leaders who are mostly engaged in their own welfare obtaining wealth, plots, keeping their accounts abroad. So why people like Irshad Haqqani are surprised over Muslims state of affairs and why they accept some good from these Muslim rulers. Muslim rulers and rulers-in-waiting are in fact the real enemy of Muslims. See how Libyan ruler just in order to become in good books of Uncle Sam put a Muslim brother Pakistan in trouble saying it provided it nuclear knowledge. Even if it is true, this Muslim ruler forgot this provision would knowledge must had been at his own request otherwise why he would had accepted it. Now same thing one can last week Iranian opposition claiming Pakistan provided Iran same technology. This claim is nothing but only and only to come into the good books of Uncle Sam as that is the best and easy of tourney towards seat of rule.
Why do not you accept the fact that Muslims have never been united since the invention of Islam?
Gaddafi betrayed Pakistan. What option he had?
Mussharraf also betrayed Talibans. He had one option. He could stand by Talibans and let Pakistan shattered.
The actual problem is that Muslims seek religious solutions in politics and political solutions in religion.

Just to mention the Muslim unity:
The Great Ottoman Empire
Ummayad Dynasty
Abbasids
.....
Not our Muslim brothers, but the their illegitimate and thief rulers betrayed us. They only betrayed us, you India even attacked us 3 times and broke our Eastern wing. Even today you kill our Muslim nation in Kashmir and supress them in all parts of India.
The people in the Muslim world are like one. They have always wanted to be united. Our rulers imposed from outside are the ones following the commands of others and keeping us separate. An excellent example is how every Muslim feels each other's pain. You see how we Muslims are one outside our countries. Nationalities are our false identities. We are the Muslim nation!
