The fact remains secualrism promotes sectarianism it has concept called pluralism which promotes different groups there colour their differences and when these groups compete you have conflict. So if you have anyone to blame then blame the government and the system not islam because islam is not the ruling system in these lands secualrism is.

Secularism came much too late in political history to be blamed for sectarian and religious divisions.

Religious beliefs resulted from difference of opinions between its followers, now who did what or when is not the issue here. Fact remains, that the same kinda ppl are active today exploiting religious sentiments for their selfish motives.
