I think the visa regime should be made easy, so you can visit Pakistani Kashmir. The refugees, whether Hindu, Muslim or Sikh were the real victims of partition. I went to visit my village in Haryana, and went to Kanpur and Lukhnow as well, where my maternal side is from. Didn’t think I was going to be emotional, but hate to say this but I did cry.
Are you Mirpuri or Poonchi. There is a huge Mirpuri community in the UK, but I’m affraid most are Jihadi sympathisers.
