1)again your imposing your version of islam on others, not your right mr taliban.

2) everyone does not wear the veil in the west, a tiny minority does. and those that do, tend to choose professions where they can take it off during work. rarely do they keep it on throughout. Hence identifying is not really a problem.

infact see them enough times and you can easily recognise the person behind the niqab from the way they walk and talk. again this is ignorance and assumptions on your behalf that is causing them problems.

3) interacting does not require much more than the eyes and tongue. ive dealt with and seen enough veiled women to know its a non issue that is conjured up in the mind of an ignorant. interacting is not a problem.

but why go to these extremes in the first place

most of these women who are wearing niqab do so because they beleive its part of Islam and its not. Its a Persian and Arab custom which was invented long before Islam came.

I think it is a problem as these women will never be comfortable in a presence of a man and hence restrict their interactions. This is just another in a long line of mis-perceptions of Islam that Muslims have made.

Are these the same intolerant ones who keep their daughters in their houses and stop them from getting an education, or forcefully marry them to their cousins back in pakistan so that their cousin can get british nationality or force their daughters to wear the niqab and veil when its clearly not a part of Islam and its a tribal tradition....
