Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Yasin Malik, today interacted with Amarnath yatris at Baltal and assured them that Kashmiris are not against the yatra but were only opposed to the transfer of forest land to Amarnath Shrine Board.
Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday urged Amarnath yatris to be aware of the communal elements who were portraying that Kashmiris are against the pilgrimage.
“Nobody in Kashmir is against the pilgrimage. You are our guests and we are here to help you in solving your problems,” he told a gathering of pilgrims and tourists near the Tourist Reception Centre at Dalgate here
He is calling all the pilgrims as guest … learn something from your Kashmiri brothers.
