why do most muslims in the western world act more like all these christians and other race peoples? why dont they make there own religion proud? look at all these christians making sure that there religion is spoken for and all these hindus etc. etc…why do muslims follow in there footsteps and not in muslim footsteps?
a girl i know is like a complete “gori” she goes around wearing mini skirts and in the holidays she got ha belly button peirced…why do muslims do this? there making there own religion look bad!

Ok, So I havent really noticed many Muslims “trying to be Christian”. Only god knows knows how thats possible, you know, to act like a religion and not follow it. But what I have noticed is Muslims trying to be all “gangsta” and “down with it”. It being the “black people lifestyle”. Can someone PLEASE explain that? :halo:

Though it is still like rambling but I think I get the idea. There are all sorts of people around in the world, those people who act like ‘gangsta’ are the ones who are lost souls, they are trying to search their id in something else, trying to act ‘cool’… I don’t think they have much to do with any religion.

To which I respond: she's behaving this way because she lives in a western country (I presume) and she has the freedom to do so - and more power to her. She doesn't take her religion seriously because she doesn't live in fear the way that women in muslim countries live in fear of reprisals for dressing that way and expressing their femininity openly.
It's THOSE muslims that are making their religion look bad - and mostly the men too. It´s a good way of keeping their women under control.

Exactly what i mean but the thing is that if their parents were to teach all these things then why do it....i think its because of the laws here you know like "parents arent allowed to smack their children" etc. etc. thats why they get out of hand!
what about this other girl who's parents are really nayk and islami and the daughter goes and sells drugs and hangs out with boys, her younger sister was all good like the parents but as she went into negus she started to hang out with boys aswell.
what is wrong with them? do they not notice that although noone else is watching allah (subahnu tallah) is watching?

day of judgement Allah will ask the kuffar, your neighbour and he will reply they never told me about Islam.. so you will be punished as well... so rather then going around online and ranting why not make friends with her and preach.. that's what the christians do in africa and convert them except they let them kill each other at the end..we shouldn't do the latter.

Human being s by their nature tend to follow society...Western civilisations norms and regulations are different to Islam so it is significantly harder to practice there...
To turn your rxample around...If everyone is a society was covered head to toe a girl would feel a bit awkward wearing a short skirt...we tend to look to society to deem what our norms and values are when what we should be doing is looking to Islam to define our norms and values...
