I don't understand this "confused by two civilization" nonsense, even though it sounds very scholarly on the surface.
Why exactly is it difficult for muslim parents to teach their kids that there are certain practices they should keep at home as dictated by islam and that there are laws of the country that they have to follow (whether they migrated to or borne into).
Practice your religion without bothering others and others won't bother you - that holds for all religions.
If there are some practices that are in conflict with the law (eg: multiple wives), work with the syste, to arrive at a compromise instead trying to impose your will on others.
I will say this: muslim parents are the worst enemies of their own children, from what I have seen
