There are 52 Muslim countries on the globe, most of them has blessed with key mineral resources and strategic importance, but apart from all this, they are only countries which are developing in corruption and other non-sense things. This behavior has ultimately provided an ideal environment for the anti-social activities to grow.

Let’s look at the common traits in these 52 countries which claim themselves MUSLIM.
Lack of transparency
Lack of Justice, both at social and legislative level
Lack of Leaderships, the leader is only interested in getting into power so they have more chances and power for corruption.
Lack of Education & research, the literacy rate in these countries is alarmingly low, research and analysis is a term which does exist in any field other than corruption.
Lack of Civic Sense, not limited to leaders, the people of Muslim country due to poor education system, are not aware of their civic responsibilities, they live like a wild animal and needless to say that, in a jungle, only wild animal survives.
Lack of tolerance, not limited to government, civil society is clearly not ready to tolerate any difference of opinion.
Wealth and leadership in limited families, in 52 Muslim countries wealth and political parties (if any) belongs to a limited number of families only.
Different laws, unlike any civil society, these countries, the interpretation of law differs from person to person, a person who belong to ruling class or a wealth family, can commit any crime, including murder and can easily get away with it, whereas an non-connected person can be held accountable for not paying his bills on time.

The list is endless, the point I am trying to make is, it is responsibility of leadership to give their people better, education and justice, once these two are delivered rest follows by itself. The trauma is the leaders as knowingly or purposely not allowed these basics to be delivered, and clearly violate the Quranic order to fill the land with justice and harmony.
Pakistan has got all the above symptoms and I am sure there are plenty more, point is, ulessl we be stop supporting these leaders, Nawaz Sharif, Benazir, Pervaiz Musharaf, Altaf Hussain will not brought to justice. This should start by condemning the wrong deeds and appreciating the right ones. In addition, if people should not worship personalities. There is lot more to be done but these are just to begin with.
I guess the important question we should ask to ourselves is, are we brave enough to see out side the box?

I think the biggest problem facing the muslim population is the lack of education. The biggest debate that is raging in the muslim community is about the status of the muslims elsewhere in the world. They dont worry about their own status..

Choice is urs,

u can be part of problem or u can be part of solution.

to become part of problem all u have to do is join any of the joker( curret leader) and let the ball roll, or u can just sit and do nothing...

on the other, hand u have to stand against the masses of people u worship their leaders, need to enlighten them with the evils these leaders have done to our society. need to tell people what is their social benefits and how they contradict with leaders...

None of the ruler, leader or leading family or opposing family/leader is good enough, we need to strickly analyze any person who claim be a leader ( may it be a group of people only). we need to reject those who has corruption allegations, who has known for their crimes and cruelty we need to think out of our religious, ethnic grounds, we need to think what is good for our country.

Having the current leadership, who needs enemy..

Ya that is major issue, and root to that problem are our selfish leaders who don't want people to be educated as it isl certainly against their interests

Brother in addition to our leadership crisis our problem is also our flawed way of thinking…we blame all our failures on conspiries hatched by others…try to justify one wrong with another wrong…we do not draw a clear line between wrong and right…

You can see how the guy refutes Wafa Sultan in the video…instead of condemning the evil doings of muslims the idiot is trying to justify them because of non muslim wrong doings…

Unless we start critisizing our wrong doings and have the guts to declare a wrong is a wrong and stop justifying them…our condition is not going to change>>>

…and you can see a lot of guys defending/justifying illegal actions of our criminal dictator on some vague grounds>>>>

muslim world used to inspire with its knowledge, wisdom, innovation and justice in past when Muslims set examples in all fields of life.

if you look at the state of Muslims now. they all lack these qualities, its not only leadership. leaders are born within community.

If we dont have the real educated people, thinkers, innovators i dont think there will be many honest leaders and any progress in state of Muslims.

basic key is education. we Muslims made to stop thinking out of the box and many of our people led by different groups for own use in the name of faith.

Education and Unity are the keys! and you cant find unity even between 3 muslim persons let alone nations or group of nations.

I think Muslim nation is fighting the last of the last fights for its survival. It is a law of jungle now a days in this world and it is the survival of the fittest.

My suggestion is to first make it Very difficult for the corrupt Leaders to profit from the graft and unabashed Looting!

We have those institutions declared accomplices in this crime that help Launder these illegal funds........because they are partners in these crimes.......do to them what was done to BCCI.....put them on Notice..Black List them.......and other ways are also available...

Pakistan as a Nation can take steps to insure No Leader ever thinks of doing what these Goones have done......

Lets not forget how women are disrespected and treated like trash - amounting to half your population. Also that children's rights are not respected (children in poverty, child workers, child sex trade, etc)...which would make it over 50% of your fellow citizens.

I don't know if thread starter is seeking rootcauses or not. Not supporting one amongst the current caste of 'leaders" may sound good but then what? Who do you support? You may not like any of the choices but you have no choice amongst them.

Such acts are simply treating the symptoms howvever. It has become a cliche to say root cause is lack of education. That may be true but one doesn't need 'education' to grow a common sense

And common sense means keeping perspective and balance.

A large portionf of people have lost it. They have become obsessed with and ultimately scared slaves of a religion that. they don't even know of let alone undestand. They are and their kids are suffering from mass delusions about role of god, religion and their own. Ironically they don't recognize that the reason for religion is not worship of god but maintenance of peace through morality. Instead islam has been made the instrument of violence.

Education is important but morality is only partly taught. Most of it has to come from parents and elders from within the house and immediate society. This is called the 'social fabric".

Upto a point education sustains peace through material growth and reasonong. But beyond that more serious action is required.

Such as banning a large variety of sermons, curtailing funding of all religious activity and scaling back to 5pct, removing religion based education outright, banning funding by foreigners including arabs.

Unless people of pakistan stop referring themselves as muslims and start identifying with the rest of the world as citizens whose religion happens to be islam, n amount of education money minerals and tyranny will save them. And that holds for all countries.
