who gives a damn whether you think its part of the religion or not… the whole point of contention is whether the state has any business mandating dress.

p.s. **muslims **are the biggest hypocrites around these days. in their countries they want to have their way but cry about persecution and religious intolerance when given a bit of their own medicine.

Care to explain what hypocrisy muslims show?

Freedom of being able to wear whatever they feel like should be allowed. Muslims, Jews or christians..etc.

Where did these women force french half or full nude women to wear hijab or niqab? Any example?
