Even in the article above it says ''Arab'' .. and after living in Egypt ..and alot of its inhabitants even from sudan are NOT muslims ..

The term they used is “rape by deception”. Still a charge of rape.

It was a consensual sex between two individuals. Regardless of what one person tells other and what other person believes first person, the act remains. A consensual sex. That’s it.

The girl needs some counseling on not giving the milk away so easily (a la Elvis Presley's remark about "why buy the cow when you get the milk for free..."). To even call it rape is ridiculous. Actually, this is pretty justified. The application of the conviction/charge is obviously biased (as if the situation were turned around you'd rarely find a conviction). It shouldn't be charged as rape, but sexual misconduct through deception (or something similar).
Example-- a woman is sleeping in her bed, a man crawls in, she thinks he's her husband. They sleep together. Later she finds he was not her husband. She goes to the police. While the situation is different, a lie is a lie, and should be punished. We all base decisions based on our perception. If a false reality is presented to us, we cannot fully consent to any action we take based on that. Again, it shouldn't be classified as rape, but no one should get away with it.
Same deal with con artists. Expect jail time if you lie to others in order to take advantage of them.
zap... sometimes ive had:D lies.. or minor alterations of truth.. or minor modifications in personality..ive been with more than a few.. tricks are required sometimes..
even if they are not required.. they fasten the process at least.. more efficient approval to enter the gates of heaven..

This stupid case is an insult to REAL rape victims. Not spoiled brats who got a case of the regrets and want someone else to pay for their stupid decisions as a result of their lack of morals!

If this will be the standard then millions of sexual acts will come in to this category including women being the wrongdoers around the world.
Sexual activities of this kind are norm everywhere. Not sure why it was considered special if it happened between an arab and a jewish girl. Both were looking for fun time.

The problem here is that even judge had to make up the reason for the wrong judgement. It was correctly caught by other people who opposed the wrong and biased decision.
The news reports have labeled it as "rape" but the court, most definitely, has given the punishment of deception or fraud because no rapist is released after 18 months of imprisonment.
