This is a complicated issue. The majority is not always right, and minority is not always wrong. Often, the greatest injustices of history have been committed at the behest of the majority.
In the case of the Minorities in Pakistan for example, many, perhaps the majority, would support laws which are abused and used to discriminate against minorities. But that does not justify these laws. The Blasphemy law, the Anti Ahmadi laws etc, are clearly in wrong, yet they are the law.
Would you say that Christians, Hindus, Ahmadis etc have no right to protest and demand change of their govt if they are infact Pakistani?
Same applies in France. Should minority French citizens not have a right to demand change of their govt? After all, it is as much their govt as it is the Majorities.
