Muslim sect 'kept children in cells underground for TEN YEARS

Re: Muslim sect 'kept children in cells underground for TEN YEARS

Isa (pbuh) became a prophet more than 500 years before Muhammad (pbuh) - that makes Muhammad (pbuh) the last man to become a prophet.

The return of Isa (pbuh) will be the return to this world of an earlier prophet who has not died yet, rather than someone who became a prophet after Muhammad (pbuh) died.

Absolutely sure. Muslim jurists agreed on this point in response to the beliefs of the Khawarij, the group which killed Caliph Ali (ra). The Khawarij believed that if you willfully committed sin by doing something forbidden by Allah SWT, then you were no longer a Muslim and left Islam. Since leaving Islam is apostasy and punishable by death, they concluded that any Muslim who willfully sinned must be killed.

Muslim jurists refuted this and established the principle that sinning alone does not negate your deen. You would have to sin and claim that you what you were doing was not sinful in order to be considered to possibly leave Islam and not be Muslim.
