REGISTER NOW FOR MPAC’S 2003 CONVENTION
Wednesday, November 26, 2003
It’s that time of year again! Register now for MPAC’s Third Annual Convention! MPAC’s conventions the past two years have been a huge success; and praised for the intellectual caliber of the topics and the speakers. If you attend MPAC’s convention, you will leave more enlightened and aware of the major issues facing the American Muslim community, and most importantly, we will give you the tools, via lectures and informational packets, to become more involved and make a difference.
MPAC’s convention philosophy is not to talk only to ourselves or to rehash information we already know; our philosophy is to reach out and continually strive to expand our circle of friends and or sphere of understanding.
Please join us for this very special event for American Muslims!
waqas, I'd like to know what went on there. I've attended several CAIR events and they are always informative, and I'm guessing MPAC events must be similar.
AvgAmericanGirl, I've often wondered the same thing. I remember when I worked for the State, a lot of people of hispanic origin would ask me about the Spanish soap opera El Cologne(or however you spell it), and how it depicted this muslim couple. Everyone thought that this is how muslim women are treated. I had to clear up a few major stereotypes, but I noticed that people were very eager to learn about the culture/religion.
