Muslim Personal Law in India

A common civil code is once again dropped in India. Muslims in India are very against of any such law, which may interfere into their Muslim personal law, inspired by Islamic Sharryat.
Is the same possible in Islamic States for minorities?
Muslims in India demand a separate civil law for them as per Sharyat in any of family disputes, but they do not want the punishment as per Sharyat in theft or murder cases.

In an islamic state the non muslim can practice there belief etc.

On issue of civil law i am not clear what the indian law says, but in islamic state all people will have the shariah law implemented on them whethere they are jew, xtstian, muslim hindu etc. It would not be an islamic state if it did not implement the shariah law!

I think the problem is muslims have a ideology and systems called islam, India implements the secular and capitalist idea, therefore you have a clash of systems.

The other religions such as hinduism and judaism dont have a system they only have a belief system they don't have systems of economy, judicial, foriegn policy etc.

even if they enacted the comon law still the case should be brought
to court by muslim which they may not do or settle among theselves.
