Muslim orphans of war

The other day I thought about all the people dying in Iraq and thought to myself about all the children who are left orphaned it saddened me then a worse really horrible thought struck my mind… You know how sometimes Kaafirs’ adopt these orphans (after their governments have got rid of the parents) and bring them up as non-Muslims…

…This reminded me of a documentary I saw about 8 years ago, I was about 7-8 then, it was about an American man, or was he British/French? Adopted three kids from Afghanistan, I have vague memories of the documentary, he took them to topless beaches and all sorts (to deislamify them) now the brother in the documentary was really disgusted by the topless beaches and he didn’t want to carry on any further (even as a kid it was so heart-warming I felt really proud of him for that) then that perverted white bostord bought those sisters bras and sh!t and took them to the beach and almost forced them into stripping into bikinis, they were reluctant at first and said “what will brother say?” and the white bostord explained to them how they were free and it was their life, they should live it with freedom, you know the same sort of modern bull people on here sometimes come out with.

So anyways I was wondering if anyone knows which documentary I’m talking about? If anyone has any idea what happened to them kids.

It really saddens me when I think about the fate of those three and others in similar situations.

Can I also take this opportunity to ask those uncles and aunties who don’t have any kids of their own or maybe want some more to consider adopting Muslim orphans and save them from falling into the filthy clutches of the Kuffaar and their Kufr, Allah will reward you for saving their Emaan.

Zakiii,

You are a complete and utter idiot.

I have never heard of "deislamifying" a child, and I have never known a soul who willingly takes his daughter to a topless beach.

My wife and I spent a long time looking into adoptions. For the most part the people who adopt, and are willing to spend a huge part of their life saving to adopt a child are among the most loving caring people you could imagine. Because of China's one child policy there are approximately 5000 children adopted per year from China and brought to the US.

The Parents have formed cultural groups where the kids can wear traditional chinese dress, celebrate the Chinese new year, and they arrange trips back to China for older Children so that they can remain in touch with their heritage. The Chinese are generally so glad that their children are being helped by Americans, that they will approach Americans with Chinese babies during the trip to pick up the children, and say "lucky baby!". I met hundreds of adoptive parents, and they are loving and responsible parents, many of whom organize fund raising events for the Chinese orphanages that cared for their children.

Phrases such as "filthy clutches of the Kuffaar and their Kufr" are disgusting, ignorant, stupid, racist, hateful and a horrible reflection on Islam. You are a disgrace to your religion.

I could have not said it any better!!!

Agreed. He doesn't represent his religion, only his narrow minded creed.

In fact, I wonder how many muslims around the world adopt orphans, compared to the rest of the world ? I don't have any figures to support this but my perception is that it is viewed as only 'second best option' and not particularly encouraged. Happy to be proved wrong though.

hadith of the prophet (saw) says "i and the supporter of an orphan will be like this (holding up his hands with his index finger and middle finger together to show the closeness) in jannah"....

i wonder which muslim wud consider raising an orphan (if he cud) as 'second best option'....

I wish I could agree with you. But look around you. How many muslims do you know who have adopted ? What muslim organistions exist for such a thing ? When was the last time you heard a Friday sermon about the subject ?

I know 3 people who've adopted in the US alone...

The Edhi foundation does adoptions in pakistan too

Faisal bhai,

Perhaps I was a bit harsh on a 16 year old. He sure does sound brainwashed for 16 however....

How about this?

"You are talking like a complete and utter idiot, but you are young enough to change. Your concern for orphans is admirable, but you should rethink your feelings about loving parents willing to adopt. Adoption is a difficult and expensive process done only by the most dedicated of humans who are willing to open their homes and their hearts for the most noble and caring reasons. Rethink the "documentary" that you apparently viewed very long ago, and ask yourself if this "documentary" could have been hateful and bigoted."

Better?
