A muslim in France has been jailed after he punched a nurse who tried to remove his wife’s veil during childbirth.
Nassim Mimoune, 24, had already been expelled from the delivery room for b*****ng the midwife a ‘rapist’ as she carried out an intimate examination of his wife, the Daily Mail reported.
But just as he spotted the nurse, through a window, taking off his wife’s burqa while the woman prepared to give birth, the man smashed open the locked door. He hit the woman in the face, demanding she replace the full Islamic veil.
After his wife gave birth to a baby boy, Mimoune was ejected from the hospital building by security guards in Marseille. He was later arrested for assault.
A judge in the southern French port jailed Mimoune for six months while saying: “Your religious values are not superior to the laws of the republic.”
I guess that was his first baby!!! He should have made his wife give birth at home if he was sooooooo offended that another woman (I am assuming the nurse is a woman) was gonna see his wife’s face…and and and…omg…I can just go on and on about this ignorant idiot!
Why would a man object to a female Nurse? I can understand his reaction if it was a bloke who removed a viel... that where I come from is tantamount to suicide, if you remove a ladies purdah its the same as assault so the punishment is very severe.
However in Islam theres no mention of not allowing female nurses to tend to women in childbirth. In fact what on earth was the man doing invading that room? When my wife had our babies I stood outside praying... its very unseemly for men to come barging in such scenarios.
I think this is an Islamaphobic lie becuase it does not make any sense.
Sounds like something written by someone who has no or a very limited knowledge about the rules in Islam.
