Your heart does not have to accept it. You do not have to believe it is morally right. But you do need to be aware of the fact that it is not right to discriminate against others legally simply because you question their moral/religious values. Protecting equal rights for all is imperative if we want to continue to practice our religion in secular countries where many people may disagree with our moral/religious choices.
