very weak reason given by muslim leaders for asking women to stop wearing veils.
you have to decide what is Important for you to spend your life in islamic way or spend your life in nonmuslim country.
if you people are facing deficulties following islamic way in any of the country then go some place else.
this is another thing if you people are looking for loop holes in "islamic way of living" to fullfill your own desires and wishes with weak excuses.
