You may be right. Looking at past glory and ignoring past mistakes is in our roots, but Pewasta shajar se umeed e bahar rakh :)

But can we ignore our past contribution to Europe? Why people remain on extremes. Either they only talk about (read boast of) past achievements ignoring the mistakes or they avoid / considering anything positive about the past.
