It seems that as we move along on the continuum of time and space, muslim women in the entertainment field (from my experience, let’s say Pakistani and Indian muslim ones) seem to be showing more skin than ever before in movies, on TV, in music videos, on the fashion runways, etc. Yet some of these same actresses claim to be almost more “religious” than others.
What are your opinions on the connection between Islam and entertainment-related careers that seem to demand skin-showing as a rule rather than the exception these days when it comes to women.
