do u have any pictures of clothing that is a bit more modern??

By "modern", what do you mean?

A lot of girls where I live wear abayas witn an umbrella kind of shape (as well as the sleeves) with embroidery on the wrist area and beads.

How about shalwaar kameez that are loose and full sleeved? I always thought it was the best thing -- we have a proper dress code in our traditions, complete with dupatta. Of course I'm talking about the traditional clothing, not the craziness that's going on these days that are sleeveless and/or see-through, show the midriff, etc. (kinda defeats the purpose of clothing oneself, don't you think?)

Basically anything that covers up to the wrists, ankles, and neck(depending on your definition of hijab...some people believe it includes niqaab) would be Islamic, right? Obviously I know it ain't enough to just cover for the sake of covering -- it shouldn't be tight and outline your body, but that's obvious (though I don't get what's wrong with Pakistanis and their fashion industry that seems to be stripping more and more with time due to the obsession of becoming as modern as possible, by unfortunately, non-Muslim standards).
