Quran bashed even the sahaba [ra] when they boasted of their stength before battle of hunain ....what are u talking about ? why do you think umar [ra] and Ali[as] were also very strict when dealing with people of their time ?
You have missed the whole point.
Allah has the right to bash anybody or anything. Hazrat Umar(RA) and Hazrat Ali (RA) dealt strictly with people creating mischief and mayhem not with common people who were going on with their lives. I am not talking about bashing by Allah for boasting, or for being a munafig, for being a fasiq. I am talking about Alims making outrageous comments about our daily life and our efforts to make an honest day living.
