Yes, adoption. I’ll use that word, and don’t derail this topic by arguing over semantics.
My question is this: If you have an orphan who is muslim, is a non-muslim family allowed to adopt the orphan (raise them, etc)?
Does the Pakistani government and charity organizations allow for non-muslim families to adopt muslim children, or do they try to find a muslim home for the child?
Re: Muslim Adoption/Muslim Orphans
i feel that this question is more about pakistan policies than religion and Pak1 is a more suited forum....
P.S. if Pak 1 mods feel its unwanted they can toss it back to me
Re: Muslim Adoption/Muslim Orphans
what about all the parents who lost kids adop the ones who lost their parents in their earthquake?
Re: Muslim Adoption/Muslim Orphans
^ You'd think that's how it would work.
Re: Muslim Adoption/Muslim Orphans
obviously their pain wont be lessened but at least those kids would have a home!
Re: Muslim Adoption/Muslim Orphans
Well, but does anyone know the official policies in Pakistan for sending muslim orphans off to non-muslim families abroad?
