Does anybody here think that music is haraam??
One of the "nishani's" of "qiamut day" coming close is that in many places there will be high volume of music.
But I don't think it is haram
Again this 'i don't think that...'
How about if I say that 'I don't think that Ulcer is a disease or I don't think AIDS is a disease..' What do you think a doctor would think of me? He will be upset that what gives me a right to say things about his subject with a remark 'I don't think such and such..'
It would be nice if we have access to some 'faqeeh' who can answer these forum questions about what is haram or halal.
Nowhere in the koran does allah forbid us to listen to music.. no famous hadith is found in this regard, and music is one of the most progressed arts in arab and indian muslims.
