so this video left me speechless! who are these people? i never seen any funeral as such in pakistan not even in the most jahil village or anywhere! this is def a sign of qayamat! SAD!

I can't view this video at work, but yeh the idea of music at a funeral is quite messed up.

My favourite music video is where they had a peer's celebration going on, the guy with very long hair, and the qawwal went, 'sarkar farmanday nay, jinnay dhamaal na paya o bara ee...'. Sheer awesomeness.

Maybe that was his wish, to have music on his funeral?

I only say that because it doesn’t seem like the people are enjoying or anything ( well except for the one guy in the beginning, which he could have his reasons for dancing )

Nice idea

Well maybe the village was just happy that the person died .. I can understand that feeling.

On a serious note, it looks like one continuous scene but except for the first part where the camera moved from dancing boy and music band to empty coffin box, there was no indication that later part of the video had dancing going on in the background except for the background music (which could easily be added through any movie maker software)

In any case, this is not barlevism as some of the comments of youtube are suggesting.

could it be some Heejra's funeral. I heard that they dance and sing when one of them dies.
