I was soo soo sooooo close to going to this concert. Actually I could’ve went but… 
arughh I gotta go somewhere tomorrow. It was my own choice not to go there . I missed seeing Shehzad Roy .If they come back to NJ this summer then will try my best to go

Awesome? I haven't even ever heard of more than half of these people. And what the hell is that bozo Sarmad coming for??? I got free VIP passes though :p Might go. It's taking place tomorrow here.

Are you in DC?
So I went afterall. Cos no one else feels comfortbale driving in DC The show started approx 2 hours late. It was pretty hot in the hall.
The show started off witha local english group ResQ which was alright. Then there was this guy Usman something who gave an awful performance. He was in this metalic grey stretch suit kind of thing, I thought he had a wig on but they must have been real or it would have come off. He was jumping like something had bit him on his rear end. All he did was some bad lipsynching and hanging his down to bring the hair on his face and then moving them back with his hands again. Repeatedly!Continuously! Bleah!
Then this group of dancer girls from NJ perofrmed a dance to ‘mujhe rung de’ which was very very good. Next in line was some other singer and I decided to step out for a while with my sister, he was that lousy. Let’s see who was next? Right ‘Legacy’. I have seen a couple of videos of theirs on tv and couldn’t stand them till yesterday really but the lead singer is cute. Cute as in looks too…he wasn’t bad, but cute in the way he spoke is what I really mean. He was funny in a simple sort of a way and the punjabi/English mixed language he spoke just made me laugh. He goes did anyone buy my cd? No noise from the crowd. Then he goes alright did anyone DOWNLOAD my cd? That was funny.
I think that Kaur girl came out next who did a couple of bhangra beat songs. Then that group RDB came on. They did all bhangra stuff too. Apparently the Kaur girl is the RDB guys wife! So they did a duet too.
Phir kon aya ji…that girl from Pakistan. Phattay howay dyed blonde hair. I can almost bet she was wearing that usman guys stretch suit. She did this one extremely lousy number. The second was a bit better, the one they advertise too. Can’t remember the title or her name.
Finally came on stage Munna Shehzad Roy. There was quite a bit of cheering for him with little teenage girls frantically spreading thier arms towards him. Finally security put up these extra barriers around the stage keeping the people on their feet a good deal away from the stage. Last of all Sukhbir came on. His peformance was very good, had the whole crowd on thier feet.
Oh hwo could I forget to mention SARMAD SUFYAN Uskay bas nahi chal raha that mooN ke andar mic rakh ke baat karay. Gadha was so bloody loud, literally screaming in the mic. Dekhnay mein he is cute though but one is ready to ignore that and beat him up when he more than hurts your ears with his abnoxiously loud voice!
The best thing about the show…the dancers. This is the first time they had dancers performing behind almost every singer. And they were professional/trained girls so they new what they were doing, not just standing behind doing some gay moves. Very energetic, keeping up with the beat, not perfectly but well co-ordinated. All the girls did a great job.
p.s. Dinner was behooda.
