I have over 200 CD’s in my collection. It took me that long to come to the realization that music is dumb…what is the purpose of music? to put you in trance-like state? to experience sound in as many varieties as possible? to move you emotionally?
I’m going to sell my CD’s soon.
Going to concerts/shows is also dumb. You’re standing there in a crowd of smelly, drunken people looking at other people playing instruments. Looking back now, I can’t get over the stupidity of that situation.

yes but the source of that money is coming from in his view from something ''Dumb and gay'' it's like a gambler winning money and giving to charity it's just an analogy.

But it was his/her money which he/she spent at the first place…it was not like he/she stole the CDs or something?

I feel the same way about sports, that they're dumb and I've been to many live events in the States.
Still, some music brings you in a good mood and forces expressions/emotions that you typically do not have access to.
