loved music. especially choir. had a music class (choir) in school, umm until maybe grade 3. woh bhi dar dar keh abhi cancel hui, abhi cancel hui. then when i swtiched school, there was the music class again, but this time they actually taught you how to read music. rudimentary, but something nonetheless. came to the states, and sooooooo took choir. but my dad was totally against it. in his words, it's "marasiyon" wala kaam. (scuh hypocrasy, khud to baray mazay mazay say mukesh aur pata nahin kya kya suntay hain.) so after grade 9, never took. but i think his opinion about music is shared by many. keh its not something good...marasion wala kaam. shayed isi liyay music isn't taught ins chools unless it's like some posh, english medium school.
