Re: Is Music Haraam?
Judicial laws are purely man made made laws made with morality in mind. Shariah laws are implemented keeping the Laws of God in mind. The Japanese said, “The law may upset reason, but reason should not be allowed to upset the law…”
Any law that is implemented in Shariah is imposed with Islamic injunctions in mind. Those injunctions are clearly written.
How could a kleptomaniac think stealing is Haram in Islam? Or taking bribes, or lying? If God doesn’t like it, He doesn’t like it, no matter what your heart says. My heart tells me a lot of things to do which Satan puts in my ear…Doesn’t mean I do them.
That is the Chuck Norris movie version of Islam. The Hollywood Islam which makes every American like yourself think that they are doing the right thing and are ‘good’ and those that propose or are proponents of Shariah are ‘evil’. Your media puts everything in very black and white and the more you believe it, the more grey your judgements become.
Unlike western laws, Shariah laws do not scrape or dig into a person’s personal life to prove by any means the wrongness of a person. Shariah law first imposes a judgement of innocence upon a perpetrator then digs for proof, and that too only proof of the crime committed, not his entire history, psychology and private life.
Shariah law does not impose its rules inside the walls of a person’s dwelling and no phone or wiretaps. Shariah law is strictly imposed upon the facets of society that are under the ruling government.
Example, you can drink all you want, fornicate all you want, do drugs all you want INSIDE the confines of your home. Under Shariah law, no one will tear down your door to make you stop.
However, when you are on the streets and you announce your crimes to the world, you are asking for trouble.
Shariah is a very easy and simple form of jurisprudence. Everything has been outlined and the criminal looking for trouble, will find himself in trouble. No doubt about it.
