Does anyone know of any good music editing software’s ?Something which can totally clear off the music playing in the background of nasheed’s / naats etc.
PS:I didn’t know where to post this request. If this is not suitable here then move it to the appropriate forum please.
I tried Google .But found nothing which totally clears off the music in the background.
Found loads of softwares which alter the music in the background but not totally clear it off.
umm…erm… give this thread a full cycle of 24 hrs, hopefully our guppy experts might surface. Try pegging Teggy (no clue if he’d be able to give u an ans, but he seems the type that may help u with pointers a’course I’m just assuming then again) Good luck though
I’ve been an artist for more than 8 years having composed and produced music, and am also a Computer Engineer with siginificant research and direct industry experience in Digital Signal Processing; so trust me when I say this.
Other than very high-end software that uses parametric techniques to isolate human voice from the background (which, as a technology is still in its infancy), production engineers use manual techniques, such as phase inversion in stereo recordings, to isolate and delete the vocals (which is the opposite of what you want). Usually the reverse is not really possible for the general case unless it was mixed down in a certain fashion.
So until I come up with an algorithm or technique to synthesize profiled human voice, stay tuned.
So in other words : No point of me searching since no such is available for the general public.
Correct... Completely filtering out higher bandwidth signals (when overlapping human speech) is not a trivial task. I can see intelligence agencies woking on noise and audio filtering algorithms for isolating speech of individuals of interest: That is a far more plausible application given today's computing limitations.
^ Audion uses parametric filtering so it may work or may not (will not completely remove background music)... furthermore, it is easier to remove vocals and leave music intact than the other way around.

100% informative n to the point ..
dewdrops2 ] u can't find a software to just remove music (out of box ) ... Audition can do it but it will require research n effort ... & end results are not alwayz perfect ...
