Re: Mushy's non-stop nonsense
norms of diplomacy or double speak, there is not much difference and I agree that it hasn't taken us anywhere. But Fraudz look at this issue, a slight twist of words and everyone is crying foul.

Re: Mushy's non-stop nonsense
Shawaiz, you are spot on...but let me say that I do not have a problem with his approach because I believe that someone has to break that logjam, however, he has gone too far in such a limited time or conceded far more than he has gained on the kashmir front from the Indians, who seemed unmoved by his overtures.
What i want to say is that iagree with your analysis but at the same time I don't find anything wrong with his approach, its just the manner in which he is dealing with the issue that makes it seem as if we are in some kind of a hurry or that we are no more committed to the cause.
Did you read the report prepared for the EU?
Re: Mushy's non-stop nonsense
guppies, Kashmir should be solved but we in Pakistan do nor trust this president. He has sold our interests before as well and can do so now. Ayub Khan sold two rivers to India, he might sell the rest of the three.
I do not advocate militancy, but nothing short of plebiscite is an agreeable solution. I mean what funny things he is trying, we have left our entire 50 years stance and India has not budged an inch. Still an atoot-ung. Just keep your principled stand, support hurriyat politically and maintain Azad Kashmir, this must be the policy for the time being, no need to give up claims. No need to hurry a solution within your tenure as well, that tantamounts to suicide.
Re: Mushy’s non-stop nonsense
ayub khan sold rivers to india. right..as if the entire global discussions and escalation was nothing..

Re: Mushy's non-stop nonsense
nothing wrong with that if kashmiris will be given the right to self-govern.
Re: Mushy's non-stop nonsense
I think Gen.Musharaf has started thinking about his legacy, history etc and wants to 'accomplish' something big ...who knows, may be even share a nobel prize with India. I don't think India is taking this seriously at all
