He did the right thing by going after Taliban. There is nothing about being Slave of America. That was the right policy which should have been pursued instead of the policy of appeasing the terrorists.
but this point is difficult to understand for supporters of all masjid pathological munafiqeen and their bitc*es.

To say that Musharraf did nothing for Pakistan shows ones ta’assub against Urdu speaking people. Reality is that his dealings with the US, India and Taliban were so good that there was no political movement against him until the time Iftikhar Chauncey showed up. At that time people like you started agitating against Musharraf even though time proved that Musharraf was right in opposing that sectarian bigot.

And I know what kind of Karachi people like you love. But remember that Karachi is karachi due to Urdu speaking, no matter how much you despise us. Your dislike of Urdu speaking people becomes clearer when you even criticized his decision to go after all masjid morons. That was one pathetic display of prejudice from you.

musharraf’s decision for supporting the US was the correct decision. Anyone disagreeing with supporting US in fight against extremism, is either a Taliban lover or a muta’assib freak.

If Musharraf’s policies with regards to taliban and Balochistan were wrong, they should have been changed in 2008. Persisting with them shows he was right. A couple of days back you yourself opened a thread that NATO supplies should be opened.

Please understand that I am using you just as an example. In fact most Pakistanis want musharraf’s head just like you do. And just like you they totally forget or overlook how much they guy did for the country.

You oppose extremism in all other posts, but when it comes to Musharraf taking action against extremist lal masjid then you take side with lal masjid bigots.
You talk of stern action against those traitors of Pakistan who blow up gas pipe lines in Balochistan, but when it is Musharraf taking action against them for the sake of the country then it is you same people supporting Baloch insurgents and instead calling Musharraf a traitor for punishing them for their actions against the country.
Again I am talking about all Pakistanis in general, not just you.

The way even a patriot person like Musharraf has been abused and ridiculed by most Pakistanis, just like you, strengthens my belief that Urdu speaking people are not welcome anywhere in Pakistan no matter what how much we try to work for the country.

so now you want Musharraf to be hanged. Well, he proved much better a person than likes of you, when he let Nawaz and Benazir go. Otherwise just like people wanting his head, he could have hanged Nawaz and Benazir for the crimes they committed against people of Pakistan.

The way people of Pakistan feel towards Urdu speaking people is evident when they abuse musharraf and call him a traitor, completely overlooking his services to the country. It is one thing to disagree with his politics but calling him a TRAITOR?! That is the height of shameless ta'assub.

Just like many other Urdu speaking people, Musharraf also thought that the way he handled the country, the way he improved economy, the way he brought hope to people about their future; people wouldl support him against Iftikhar and Pakistan's abusers like Nawaz. But he was proved wrong. He underestimated the power of ta'assub that is rife everywhere in Pakistan. It was that ta'assub that made people call him a traitor and make Nawaz/Benazir the heroes.

Fact is that unconditional patriotism is expected from Urdu speaking people while they have been politically and economically marginalized in Pakistan.

Musharraf was a traitor sure, some of the reasons quoted for that include:

1) Lal Masjid attack: We have recently heard some statements from the chief cleric of that mosque, which has depicted that the attack was justified.

2) Balochistan: If the attack was wrong it could have been reversed by PPP (infact the abductions, killing and dumping began during this period) and now PMLN

3) Drone strikes: PPP, ANP and MQM support them openly and PMLN tacitly

4) NATO supplies: PPP and PMLN have kept the supply routes open

5) Operations in FATA: All parties support this

So where is the issue?

Shouldnt we consider Musharraf a hero?

Musharrf is not a traitor alone
All the four dictators who violated the law of the country and even violated their oath taken at the time of joining army are traitors , They are traitors .
Everyone in Pakistan is a Pakistan and Urdu speaking Pakistanis are our pride .
We are against all criminals like Mush and others .
I am sorry but you should think that you try to support the criminals .

If you want to try Musharraf under article 6 then you must also try elected crooks who have looted and plundered national wealth under articles 62 & 63. It's only fair, otherwise it is only selective justice. NS had brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy in 1998.

If the PM in Q was an honest and sincere man like Jinnah, then I would happily support such a trial
