good so it seems we are in agreement that we want democracy, we dont want military rule and we dont want the old corrupt politicians returning in power.

correct. for the moment, NS and BB have the most to gain from democracy, since they will get their power back. we agree that inspite of that, democracy is the foremost aim, inspite of having allies in that cause in BB and NS

In the July 20 judgement restoring the ex-CJ Justice Iftikhar the judges basically ruled that they were above the law i.e. that allegations against the CJ would not be investigated by the constitutional body - the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). Fine if they wanted to restore the CJ, but why did they not allow the allegations against him be investigated? They even summoned journalists before the court if they alleged corruption against the judges or any sort of criticism!

It was the CJ and some of his judges that were the real dictators, and thought they were above the law.

Seems like people are short on definition of a dictator... the only dictator they can think of is someone who will shut down everything, who will control everything, who will kill people at will etc.... remember, we have a "ruler" whose strings are being pulled by "saat samandar paar", if there was some freedom it was because he was told to. CJ didn't agree with his line, emergency... is that "freedom"?
