Musharraf was responsible for rise of Taliban in Pakistan

Must add on..

1) He protected local jihadis and united them with Taliban, Pakistan was made a safe haven for Taliban and Al Quaida when they were thrashed in Afghanistan. Remember Masood Azhar who was allowed to escape conveniently from his house arrest in Bhawalpur. Today's Taliban include Jihadis from Punjab/Karachi, Afghans, Chechens, Tajiks in addition to local recruits from Madrassas in nothern Pakistan.

2) He continued to operate Jihadi training camps in nothern Pakistan where all sort of jihadis were not only trained but given all sort of supplies and logistical support. The existence of these jihad camps under the supervision of our agencies is no longer a secret.

3) He funded huge amounts to Baitullah Mehsud and allowed him to organise himself in nothern Pakistan. A half hearted operation was started against this guy much later during Musharraf's tenure when a lot of pressure was exerted by west not to negotiate with these groups.

4) He allowed Lal Masjid cleric to become a monster and gather all sort of jihadis from all over the country. When Lal Masjid cleric became a monster he started a barbarian operation against them causing unnecessary loss of life to become a hero in the eyes of the west. All this episode was a dirty example of this scoundrel's manuplation just to gain some cheap popularity in west for personal gains.

5) Remeber his love affair with jihadis during Kargil operation. These jihadi nutcases were always his B team and he always protected them.

My question to all these Mushtards ( as Spock reffered to Mush lovers) can you answer why he always openly protected these Lashkar e Tayyaba *******s...Masood Azhar & Company..from Kargil to Taliban and to Baitullah Mehsud...why this illegal dictator always flirted with these jihadi nutcases..

please dont

^ pleasure is all mine.

Re: Musharraf was responsible for rise of Taliban in Pakistan

thank god, people here did not think ' Musharaf was born in India so he must be an Indian agent', people of Pakistan where ethnic to the land they ruled problem is even after 60 years Pakistan seem to be thinking the same,

Surely he was not an Indian agent and this was very evident when he started Kargil misadventure...

But he was sympathetic to Altaf Hussain and Jihdis/Taliban both terrorist groups who flourished under his illegal rule...

Remember the definition of terrorism...use of force against unconcerned innocent people to achieve political objectives..and both Altaf and Taliban can easily be classified as terrorist..

Thus it can easily be concluded that the illegal dictator was a terrorist supporter...

His actions of releasing Masood Azhar from custody in Bhawalpur and May 12th incident in Karachi are undeniable proofs of Musharraf's terrorism support...

Don't you even try to defend Musharraf by playing ethnic card...it is simply a disgusting and a shameful act on your part...
