While, I don’t agree with some of the things that this student says, his oratory is logical, clear and concise. Given that he is from a Madrassa (Jamia Binnoria in Karachi), and the general image of religious people, I think this will impress a lot of people.
It is so wonderful to see that people are given a chance to voice thier concerns so publicly and that too directly to the leaders! In this respect, Musharraf should be praised and rightly so.

secondly, i think what musharraf has done for pak - no one has done in the recent history of pak politics - i think there is no doubt that he is much better than the same ol sharif and benazir

Musharraf got bigger cheers in the audience throughout, and he made a killer line at the start which even got claps from the student who made the original speech.
“Yeh wardi waloon nai yeh allow ki, warna aaj se pehle kabhi nahin hua”
I agree this student Adnan and the way he spoke and got his point across was quite impressive. If only all religous party leaders etc could speak this clearly and get their issues across and define their causes as simply and honestly a lot would be different and the common citizens might give more weight to them and listen to them more. Unfortunately they havent even been able to tell the nation why they oppose the women’s rights bill. How can they promote religion and their agendas with such attitudes ever…?
btw, speaking of Mush clips, has anyone ever found the world famous clip of Mush from Feb 1999 before Kargil when he visited the glaciers and army formations with NS and while inspecting guns he picks a pistol and with a cigarette in mouth fires it upward in the air. The clip was so famous and every channel played it over and over, and again during Agra Summit, after which it has disappeared and never seen again…Mush mentions it in the book too saying that video created the impression that he’s a regular smoker which he isnt.
I’ve heard History Channel’s Biography section has a documentray on Musharraf. And this documentary contains that clip.
Does anyone have the clip or can anyone find it from somewhere…? Ive looked for it for ages with no luck…

The questions posed by Syed Adnan were very genuine and the answers were absolutely nail on the head by Pres. Musharraf. I really applaud the way Mr. Adnan questioned Gen Musharraf. He had the clarity and eloquence to pose his questions and really, Gen. Musharraf was on the trot to let him freely speak his mind. Hats off to Gen. Musharraf.
I think Pres. Musharraf is a very blunt guy and on the other hand very smart. It goes well for him and inshAllah, it will go well for the country.

My personal opinion on Mushy has changed a little bit over the period of past few months. He is not the Worst anymore … he is just bad..

Not like, he is a badmaash and quite arrogant too. How do we know that this student from Banori Town madrasa was not planted and briefed by MUSHAHAD HUSSAIN SO MUSHY CAN LOOK PRETTY GOOD. His questions were great but his demeaner showed no fear or reservations.
