Ok, Ok, we would leave for roads to improve in Karachi but also leave some breathing space for poor Sindhis!
There are 1.2 million Pashtuns in Karachi according to 1998 population census and a further 0.8 millions in Punjab mainly concentrated in Pindi.
Please return them back to us and we would have them resettled in the future "Pathanisistan", as Kehkashan has proposed, somewhere around Helmand or Arghandab river or in Ghazni or on Nangarhar plains or Peshawar. We already have a problem. We have more population on East of Durand but more area on West of Durand. The "Pathanistan", as proposed by Kahkeshan will have an area of 5 lack square kilometers (2 lach square miles). It will be at the juncture 4 important worlds i.e. Middle East (Iran), Central Asia, Sinic World (i.e. China), and South Asia and will have an immense strategic importance and will be close to new and old centers of energy resources (we in fact will connect the 4 worlds above).
Zakk, why are saying this? We should get disassociated from Hindustan and Hindustanis as soon as possible. Don't you think Hindustani Muslim community is the hub of fundamentalist fanatic Islamic ideologies which it exports through the vehicle of Urdu-Hindi. Examples, literature of all fundamentalist parties like Maududi, Deobandi (Bahashti Zaiwar), Pervaizi, Barelvi, Tablighi (Tablighi Nisab etc.) gets published through Urdu-Hindi. This Subcontinental ideological tamult, like a malignant tumor, is very dangerous. Zakk, you should know that Tablghi Jammaat, with ideological center at Lahore and Hindustan, has started new madrassas for babies called "Iqra-Rawzatul Atfal"?
I do't want to do anything with Hindustan. Before we came to be associated with these Hindustani Muslims, there wasn't a clash between our culture and our Islam.

Ridiculous… Last I checked, the most conservative parts of the Country were the Pashtun areas… Islamic zeal and ideological zeal seems to be far les potent in Punjab and Sindh despite being far more close to Hindustan. You let your superiority complex cloud your understanding of the dynamic history of the region.
Besides, I doubt any Pashtun will ever agree with you in regards to Islam and Pashtun society.

Karzai is right to some extent ...a lot is happening from within Pakistan,but Musharraf is not to be blamed for that...He is not controlling things in n.w.f.p because for one thing his party did'nt win elections there and secondly his own army is not entirely behind him.I met a guy from waziristan who told me that there are informers of taliban and al-qaeda within Pakistan army who would tell the terrorists in Waziristan to get out just before there is a raid.

Before this fanatic, pan-Islamist virus originated and propagated by Hindustani Muslims, we had Pashtun states (Afghanistan, Swat, Dir, ets.) and personalities like Sher Shah Suri, Ahmad Shah Abdali, Abdul Ghafar Khan (with his Khudai Khidmatgars--a secular movement ) but none can one mention as holding a theocratic view..
Taleban were getting ideological food and inspiration from Deobandi madrassas and other important places accoross Pakistan apart from human resource in the form of new recruitee, material support, and media projection (zarbi momin etc.).
The extremist pan-Islamist militant-Islamist interpretation of Islam are a Hindustani phenomenon and is a direct consequence of identity crisis in Hindustani Muslims and communal politics of Hindustan...other factors notwithstanding...
