Its already been discussed on pak affairs before, and most political experts said how the guy just raised random points out of the blue and couldnt really focus on one thing that the present regime can be attributed, he just tried to be a hero (maulana-jatt) but then got owned by Musharraf who reminded him that in the previous regimes they couldnt even raise their voices.

The sign of a good leader is one who praises God and not himself. President Musharraf clearly praises hisself! Furthermore, the young student was very eloquent and much greater people would not have gotten away with those words. You think it was the General who controlled the situation, I think nothing can happen without God. God can make people higher or lower than others. The real test is that when He does put someone in a position of power and authority that it is not abused.
The random points you say he raised … were not random in my opinion. They were carefully constructed arguments. President didn’t deal with the Basant issue at all. He didn’t retract on his harshness regarding the statement about hitting the Qabeelahs in areas that they can’t even think. In the previous regimes where their voices couldn’t be raised was because the media was freer than it is now. Now Musharraf has no worries, he is backed by US and has full control of Pakistani media. Now of course he’s gonna let people vent off a bit of built up steam. However, truth wins out.
I would like to clarify … I’m not anti-Musharraf … but I am against the forces that want to subdue Islam. Islam is the standard for brilliance if it is undertaken correctly. Mullahs excluded, we should cite our examples from the Salaf and the Awliya, the Sahabah and the Prophets (PBUT).
Khalifah and Companion Umar (RA) asked which of his people would present his faults to him as a gift, so that he may improve. We should see this standard in our leaders of today, surely!

I dont care if the student spoke better urdu or not, he was a dumbass! he got PWNED big time by the big bad warda walla, hands down and the applause Musharraf got was enough evidence, which is why the maulana-lovers never post his rebuttal/answer!
You know what, we should have a celeberity death match between the two to find out who will get PWNED by whom! I think the wardi walla will kick some serious butt! Go Pakistan Army!
btw, why did u post musharrafs reply first lol, even though i dont even see that? i mean why put the 'answer' before the 'question', admit it youre manipulative!

There are things Musharif did and doing wrong BUT this student is not a worth facing him... Musharif not only answered him rather roasted him with the reverse slap of questions!
and about wrong deeds.. no one is Perfect... and if you think... just name him / her.

Allah (SWT) is Perfect ... that is why we should endeavor to be as good as we can possibly be. Criticism is not a bad thing in Islam, in fact even in business constructive criticism is valuable to enhance producitvity and performance. You say Musharraf is doing things wrong, care to let us know what they are and how best to constructively criticise them.

Allah (SWT) also says (Mafhoom) 'Kisi ki ghalat baat par parda dalo, Maein qiyamat key din tumharey gunahoon par parda daloon gha' and yes it doesnt means stop criticizing but if you have something better to chose then you can criticize or just stick to it and do your best!

That only counts jab log apne ghalat baaton pe khod bhi parda daalen, these things are clear for all to see.

Hmmm...u guys have really gud points, but the point that pissed me off was when Mister Adnan said Aap wardi walay hain...toh aap ka farz watan ki rakhwali kerna hai...means k ager aap nae wardi pehni hai toh iis ka sirf yehi matlab hai k aap mulk k liay laro aur kuch bhi kernay ka aap ko haq nahi.
Chalo theeek hai k uus nae yeh baat ki....ager yehi baat wo khood pe apply keray toh he is not supposed to be here. iis waqat uusay kisi masjid mein baithay islam ki taleem daini chahiye!
Doosra uus nae Boluchistan ki baat ki..I was very happy with Musharraf's answer...!

I agree with u...k sirf Allah ki zaat pak hi mukamal hai...aur her insaan galat aur sahi kaam kerta hai...Aur Musharraf nae bilkul sahi expalin kiya hai k actions speak louder than words...Ager Sayad Adnan sahab ko itni hi problem hai then y he doesnt go out in do do something for his country rather than speaking nonsense!
