how is the gov't gonna play that one for the oh-so-transparent investigation of the scotland yard.
Ask Zardari. He's against scotland yard snooping around and discovering his secrets.

Pakistan’s self-proclaimed President and Supreme Commander of All Things Pakistani, Pervez Musharraf today conceded defeat to the prying eyes of the “restless” media and accepted that he “should’ve done a better job”, in the sensational but routine assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
He said, “My head hangs in shame when I hear about the Benazir saga” , addressing a meet consisting of media persons, PPP party-men and his supporters from the army . It seemed at first the President was sulking about the denial of security provided to late Mrs. Bhutto. However it turned out that he was not really ashamed about the killing, but the way it was covered up.
“I know we should have done a better job covering it up.. we are a nuclear-armed nation, with children playing with AK-47s in every street and alley. We have Bin-Laden, ISI, Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and a host of other groups of religious zealots which can put the army of Uganda to shame. All for what? Can’t we even chalk out a decent excuse for a routine assassination ?”
In a fit of rage he stormed off the stage and slapped a few high-ranking army officers occupying the front rows of the hall. The entire hall reverberated with shouts of "Is * this** what they teach you in the army?! Who told you that a sun-roof could kill a human?"*
Immediately, the journos were commanded to leave the hall and thereafter, strange noises could be heard from within.
In a completely unrelated incident, 5 dead bodies were recovered later in the same area. Official reports indicated death due to “mauling by a panda or a similar wild animal” .
