When people want to handover their daughter in marriage to someone they make sure that the groom is not kanjar. If even there is perception of groom being Kanjar, they would throwaway the marriage proposal. They try their best to not marry their daughter to anyone and cry later when Kanjar shows his Kamina-pan after marriage, right?…****

By this analogy, Martial Law is like someone kidnaps your daughter and forces her to marry him on gun point, even though legally he is not an eligible groom.
