As reported by reknowned journalist Mariana Babar on a Geo News program an hour ago,president Musharraf is under great stress these days & concentrating more on construction of his own house in Islamabad.His daughter wants him to quit now.According to Mariana he may reach the decision of retiring soon & his dialogue with BB is underprogress.ANY COMMENTS ???

Actually, his son wants him to remain Army chief as well as his President. While his daughter wants him only to retire as Army chief but remain President. This is all according to this second-rate journalist Mariana Babar, not the actual words of Musharraf's children or anyone else for that matter. Highly amusing gossip mongering but not much else.

mariana babaur is a second rate journalist???I think she is with the jang group and also writes for some other non pakistani newspaper.
anyway no politician from the ruling party has made a statement about mushy's retirement.

A lot of second rate and even third rate journalists write for the Jang Group, so what is the point?
In early March Qazi Hussain said Musharraf would be out of office by Pakistan Day, and some second rate journalist or two thought that he knew something from the inside. Guess what? Pakistan Day has come and gone, and Musharraf is still here. So I wouldn't get too carried out away by what rumours a journalist spreads to win some attention. Such traits are too common in our culture, as it helps pass time :)

He has some American hospitality due on him and deserve full US protocol. I think US will give even better farewell to him then given to Zia.
