Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

AQ Khan’s daughter rejects claims made by Musharraf in his memoir.

In his book, President Musharraf said that Dr Khan sent a letter to his daughter, Dina, asking her to “go public on Pakistan’s nuclear secrets” through British journalists.

Now, Dina Khan has hit back. In a statement provided to the BBC, she says that Gen Musharraf’s claims are “ludicrous”.

Instead, she claims that the letter was for her mother, Dr Khan’s wife, and gave details of what had really happened.

These details were intended to be released in the event of something happening to Dr Khan.

“The letter gave his version of what actually transpired and requested my mother release those details in the event of my father being killed or made to disappear.”

She says the letter mentioned “people and places” but contained no nuclear blueprints or information.

Another one of Mushy’s lies exposed  Aur kitna jhooth bolega Mushy ?

The daughter of disgraced Pakistani nuclear scientist AQ Khan has criticised claims made by President Pervez Musharraf in his autobiography.

In his book, President Musharraf said that Dr Khan sent a letter to his daughter, Dina, asking her to “go public on Pakistan’s nuclear secrets” through British journalists.

The CIA have never been allowed to interrogate Dr Khan directly, something they would very much like to do since it is still unclear how much nuclear technology he actually passed on to Iran.

**It has long been assumed that one of the reasons he has never been put on trial - or interrogated by the CIA - was because of who he might be able to implicate. **

US officials say that one of the reasons Pakistan will not be offered a civilian nuclear co-operation deal of the type negotiated with India is precisely because of Dr Khan.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

it show what a liar mushi is… how can pakistanis let such liar rule them?? pull him down

:woho:

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

it seems mod is doing quite a good job these days. quickly transfering topic to pakistan affairs..

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

To me it seems that most Pakistanis' realize this, but they would not accept it in the forum.

Re: ‘In The Line Of Fire’ (Merged)

Virtually everybody he has ‘quoted’ has said how much of a liar he his…just confirming what all of Pakistan knows

The whole book is pack of lies, no wonder it has bombed.

Re: 'In The Line Of Fire' (Merged)

maybe he has said what ppl did not want him to say. and as if Dina Khan would agree to this statement. Aside from family pride..of course living off the corrupt money daddy dearest got her, she would not let her daddy's name be scrutinized.

book bombed? u must mean its da bomb.

Re: 'In The Line Of Fire' (Merged)

:D

not just the Khan's, to have virtually everyone deny what you claim is unprecedented.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

^ Probably true. However, what is worrying is if the rest if the world starts believing his lies.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

No one believes what he says. As for US, you never know what kind of PHATKAAR he gets behind closed doors, but right now US needs him so in public they pose as if they do not think he is lying.
Did you see the Jon Stewart show, where he gives mushy a candy and immedately asks 'now tell where is Osama". It was funny.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

^John Stewart is supposed to be funny.

And if what Musharraf says is a lie, how does that make what Dina Khan says, the truth…?

[/QUOTE]

^TRD, you mean symbols of honesty and truthfulness like the Hazrat mian NS and Mohtarma BB...? and their chotas...? What could they do except deny!?

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

The benefit of doubt goes to to Dina Khan, given Mushy’s track record of lies.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

What would you expect Dr Khan's family to do? Publicly say that he wanted to blow the whistle on Pakistan's nuclear programme? Say nothing to contradict Musharraf, which would be viewed as the same as an admission of guilt?

Any desi accused of blowing the whistle on his country's nuclear programme would deny it and get his family to deny it - keeping your image intact is paramount in our culture.

It's kind of like how Benazir and Altaf continue to insist they weren't involved in corruption :cb. They will never ever admit to it no matter how much evidence is presented, because maintaining face is critical to us.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

Dina Khan has made many indians very happy as evident in this thread -- machal machal kay, uchal uchal kay, indians guppies are typing away what a liar mush is.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

Guess who has more to lose ?

The family of a disgraced scientist who is on his deathbed
OR
a general who has stuck on to power for years purely on the basis of lying to the Pakistani public and the international community.

I am sure the answer is not hard to fathom :)

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

For a change, you are right :shoaby:

I am glad not everyone in Pak buys Mushy’s lies.

Re: Musharraf nuclear claims attacked

Nobody expected mushie to stoop this low...to be making a claim that is as absurd as saying that Altaf the fat neck is a patriot...or Mushie is not fat....defies any semblance of sanity...

Dr. Khan was a known India hater, who witnessed the massacres of '47 first hand, unlike Mushie, due to his sellout family's connections made a relatively insulated and cushioned migration to Pakistan...and for Dr. Khan to be helping India in her uranium centrifuge program is as preposterous a notion as Mushie staying sober for a more then few hours....

Fact of the matter is India's uranium centrifuge program goes back to the early 80's and despite couple of decades of work, they failed to make a breakthrough and to this day their nuclear program is one based on the Plutonium route...and if Dr. Khan helped them by employing Indians in his network (a network which by the way was setup for Pakistan to acquire all the components it needed to establish it own nuclear program) who then provided India with Centrifuge designs then off course India would have made the break through and would have embarked on processing uranium if not to the weapons grade level then at least to the level which would have facilitated power generation. Indians failed to do either...which leads to the mushie theory, which he probably came up with in his usual drunken episode and one which would make even Altaf the fat face pir cringe in embarassment, being shatter like the many bottles of Jack Daniels mushie probably throws around in his drunken madness....
