Secondly, I assume because the last names are the same, that Gen.Musharraf and this nephiew are paternally related. Now why did the nephew not seek help from uncle before registering to avoid embarassment to uncle! Come on, he knew he had a invalid visa and walked in to register?

probably had a stroke of conscience and decided to face the consequences without asking for undue favours. :p

Abdali, I agree with you relatives of well known ppl get in trouble. Just because one person is in a responsible post does not mean every rishtaydaar of his will be all perfect all of a sudeen.
for starters, anyone who has an issue think of the characters in your own family and how embarrassing they can be if you were in power and they screwed up somewhere. I am sure all of us have relatives that we dont want parading as our relatives :D

It is not very difficult to realize the embarassment he'd cause is no favor to his uncle! Just plain dumb or there's more to the story. I also recall reading in the early coup days Musharaf's son was living in the US and may even have gotten in front of the press once.

And khanabadosh whats your point? Should this guy have been spared because he was a pakistani or musharrafs nephew? Your anti-pakistani hate monging is useless...
