Washington, DC, Dec. 4 (UPI) – President Bush and Pakistan’s president were preparing for their eighth set of talks this weekend, the BBC reported.
Pervez Musharraf, as part of a five-nation tour of South America and Europe, was scheduled to meet with Bush to discuss the fight against Islamic extremism, Indo-Pakistani relations and weapons sales.
Islamabad has complained recently of Indian foot-dragging, and of a failure to break from long-established positions on the issue of divided Kashmir. So far, though, there is no indication the Pakistanis are about to ask Washington to intervene diplomatically.
The other big issue the two leaders were expected to discuss is a major U.S. weapons sales to Pakistan, whose military wants to close big gap between the Pakistani-Indian stocks of conventional weapons.
Earlier this year, Pakistan was designated a major non-NATO ally of the United States, opening the way for arms sales.

It is funny that gora a$$ names like Smith and their agents accuse Musharraf. Like pot calling the kettle black. Damn tinpots!
So how many High Value Targets (HVTs) is Musharraf presenting to Bush this time? Lets see how much money "booty" he collects this time. Dollar is weak nowadays to begin with so I hope Mush brings a big Santa Sack to fill it up.
hummm,Ok,what bugs you the most,?,
Musharaf licking gora a$$ or your lack of judgment?
what kind of replies are you expecting with your cut n paste and obscenity about the National leaders of a country,:konfused:
^According to forum rules poster’s comments must be included with the news and it’s link. So I was obligated to write something as comments. I post a thread to inform and express my opinion not for expecting any kind of replies. FYKI, I don’t consider a military dictator as a “National Leader” who removed a democratically elected official. I consider him as a shameless beggar and a criminal for killing his own people to please his western Masters and I can care less what some of these Busharraf supporters kaalay agraiz have to say about my comments.
No need to be so explosive with your ugliness mate? chill a bit.
shed your name calling and take a leak else where. If you don’t like some thing, thats fine. Wait for your turn and until then hang tight who ever you are.
Funny how this US Administration who trumpet democracy everywhere they roam, has no qualms with meeting and working with a dictator. Why? Because he is serving their interests, and in that case all those phony morals go down the drain.

It is simply a realization on US part that Pak politicians cannot work towards a stable system in Pakistan. Check out the papers from 1999 when every Tom, Dick, and Harry of Pak politics was actively working to demolish NS government. These choochoo chickens invited military to step in and kick Nawaz out of PM house. They even threatened to create anarchy if military didn't oblige.
You may say that every politician from BB to Altaf to Qazi, to Qadri were on the take from military. Such a justification is even worse for the Pak politicians, that they pure sellouts.
Blaming US for Pak's own faults is simply Hippocratic mumbo jumbo spouted by the Kommie Kabal.
