Ahamdis have been complaining recently due to the fact that they are still voting under the old system, where they can only vote from those within their own communities…
Under Mush, there were atleast two major attacks on their mosques…The one in 2005 in Bahwalpur comes to mind… There has yet to be an arrrest made…
Also, if you recall, the issue of having religion printed on passports… That had to do with the belief that it will somehow benefit Ahamdis who can then go on hajj…

Islamabad - The Supreme Court on Tuesday suspended the Lahore High Court order in Mukhtaran Mai case and ordered immediate arrest of all alleged rapists.
Granting leave to all the nine appeals in Mukhtaran Mai case after two days of consecutive hearing, a three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice-designate Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry directed Inspector General Police, Punjab to arrest all the respondents except convict Abdul Khaliq who is already behind the bars.
Other members of the apex court bench were Justice Rana Bhagwan Das and Justice Syed Saeed Ashhad.
“The respondents should be kept in the judicial custody and treated as under-trail prisoners till the final disposal of these appeals,” Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry announced in the open court after hearing all the parties.
And guess who defended Muktaran, our very own Barrister Aitazaz Ahsan…
All this while Mushie was busy trying to cover up the whole case…
