Is Gen. Musharraf the president of Middle East or Pakistan? Or he is trying to replace Kofi Annan?
He should be talking about Pakistan and country X mutual concerns and that’s about it.
It is mind boggling that during his trip to Latin America he talked about resolving Palestinian issue every time he mentioned Kashmir.
How many Arabs from left (Hosni, Asad, Saddam etc) to the right (Hammas and Hizbullah etc.) have been raising Kashmir issue on international forum. If we leave out the ineffectual Mullahs in the Middle East, nobody gives a hoot to Kashmir issue. My Arab colleagues in fact blame Pakistan for the border problems.
I guess Musharraf’s advisors or his own delusions force him to bring Palis and Kashmiris in the same sentence.
In the West, he gains nothing from this mixing of apples and oranges. Countries in Latin America have Jewish population and Pakistan is better off keeping Kashmir issue separate. Palistinians have done bad things to the Westerners like hijacking etc while Kashmiri struggle remains pretty much anti-Bharat.
I hope Musharraf learns from the cold response on Palistinian issue and quits linking Kashmir to it.

what, you have Arab colleagues? How they have managed to keep themselves alive while working with you? It’s like a hungry lion and deer kept in the same cage.

Thanks for the kind words.
There is a difference between Arabs and Arrabobs. I have met many liberal Arabs who during my travels through Middle East. Unfortunately the anarchist terrorists scare the heck out of these poor liberals.
The events in Saudi prove that militant Mullahtics are hell bent on destroying the good name of Islam.
I doubt anyone in South America even cares about what happens in the Middle East. There is very little connection between South America and the Middle East (including the Sub Continent) other than oil exports and cocaine imports ;)
Mush has grand dreams of being leader of all the Moslems in the world , thats why he talks abt Palestine .
